At Chance 2 Dance (C2D), we are honoured to represent our vibrant and diverse community as part of this powerful event. “In Dance We Unite” reflects everything we stand for — inclusion, empowerment, and the belief that dance has the power to bring people together, no matter their background or ability.

Supported by the Shalvey Community Centre and the Department of Communities and Justice, Chance 2 Dance is a unique performing arts initiative built by the community, for the community. We’re not your typical dance school — we exist to ensure that every young person has the opportunity to learn, grow, and shine in a safe, supportive, and joyful space.

Whether you're two years old or an adult rediscovering the joy of movement, there’s something for everyone at C2D — from jazz, tap, and lyrical to hip hop, musical theatre, singing, acting, acrobatics, and inclusive programs like DanceAbility, plus specialised classes for boys, preschoolers, adults, and competition teams.

We know how expensive quality dance training can be — and that's exactly why we exist. To level the playing field. To make sure every child has a place on the dance floor. To show that talent, creativity, and joy don’t need to come with a hefty price tag.

As a close-knit community, we are especially excited to be part of this event because it gives us a chance to give back and support those in need. Through dance, we can bring hope, joy, and connection to individuals and families who deserve it most.

So, as we step onto the stage with other incredible performers at “In Dance We Unite”, we do so with pride — knowing we are part of something bigger. Something that celebrates every dancer. Every story. Every chance.
